Our Mission
Empowering the youth through experience, workshops, and mentorship.
Founded by Eron Gordon, professional basketball player and community advocate, the Eron Gordon Foundation was established on January 1, 2025, with one clear goal — to give back to the youth and create opportunities for growth beyond the classroom. Our foundation is dedicated to helping young people discover their passions, build confidence, and gain hands-on experience through interactive workshops, community events, and mentorship programs.

The Eron Gordon Foundation strives to bridge the gap between academic education and essential life skills by creating a supportive community where youth can learn, grow, and thrive.
Our Story
As a professional athlete, Eron Gordon has always valued teamwork, discipline, and perseverance — qualities that extend far beyond the basketball court. Inspired by his own journey and the mentors who guided him, Eron founded this organization to provide today’s youth with similar opportunities for growth. His vision is to build a community where young people can explore their potential through mentorship, leadership training, creative workshops, and volunteer experiences.
The foundation’s mission goes beyond sports — it’s about empowering the next generation to reach their fullest potential and giving them the tools to succeed in every area of life.
2025 Our Impact in
Since our founding, we’ve hosted a series of successful events designed to educate, inspire, and connect youth in the Indianapolis community:
- 01/30/2025 – Building the Foundation
Volunteers spent the day improving Horizon House, helping enhance the environment for local residents.
Location: Horizon House | 1 PM – 3 PM - 02/15/2025 – College Prep Workshop
Empowering middle and high school students with the tools to navigate the college application process.
Location: Keystone at the Crossing | 10 AM – 12 PM - 03/15/2025 – Trades Workshop
Hands-on skill-building in trades and career pathways not often taught in schools.
Location: Keystone at the Crossing | 10 AM – 12 PM - 03/20/2025 – Food Pantry Volunteer Night
Partnering with You Feed Them Missional Food Pantry to serve local families in need.
Location: You Feed Them Missional Food Pantry | 6 PM – 8 PM - 03/24–03/27/2025 – Eron Gordon Basketball Camp
A free 4-day youth camp with Indy Parks, teaching basketball fundamentals, teamwork, and leadership.
Location: Indy Parks | 10 AM – 3 PM - 04/05/2025 – 5K Run Fundraiser
Promoting health, wellness, and community support for youth programming.

Supporting A Kid Again Foundation through friendly competition and community engagement.

Encouraging creativity and exploration through hands-on hobby sessions for students.

Volunteering with New Vision Women’s Basketball Circuit during All-Star Weekend to support aspiring athletes.

Hosted by Miss Royalty International 2025, Daezii, focusing on confidence and modeling skills.

The Eron Gordon Foundation is just getting started. With an ambitious lineup of community events, workshops, and youth programs, we’re creating pathways for success and building a community of motivated, confident, and skilled young leaders.
Eron’s goal is simple — to give kids and families a community of learning and growth where they can gain experiences that aren’t always taught in school. From financial literacy to creative expression, from basketball drills to professional mentorship, the possibilities ahead are endless.
